Boutique dog houses

Not your average kennel! In between playtime, dogs nap comfortably in our custom-built houses. Sweet dreams of chasing cats await...

1:7 staff to dog play groups

At WAG we have the best staff to dog ratio in Christchurch, so that between naps your dog will get all the love and attention they deserve.

Purpose-built facilities

Our daycare venue has been designed to give your dog a structured and stimulating experience, alternating between nap and play.

What does a normal day at WAG look like?

  • We are welcoming your doggos from 7am and expect to quiet off around 9am

  • We will assign them to a small group of similar fur friends (small dogs will be grouped together where possible) and get them settled in

  • For any newbies, once they are comfortable we will slowly introduce them to their group, one dog at a time

  • Throughout the day they will rotate between nap time in our custom-built boutique dog houses (usually 1 hour at a time) and then out in their play groups for the next hour

  • When they are out in their play groups, they will participate in fun puzzle games to stimulate their brains and play with their friends. They will also get lots of cuddles, attention and chill time with our staff

  • All dogs will be put away to settle before peak pick up times all ready to greet you with their slobbery smiles

We will interact with your dog to assess the level of training it has received, how they are to be touched and how social they are.
